Madonna made her 8th appearance on Late Show with David Letterman last night and I have to say that she was actually very entertaining and funny.

When she was asked if she’ll ever re-marry, Madonna repled with:

“I think I’d rather get run over by a train.”

Ouch! Sucks to be Guy Ritchie.

Letterman decided to bring up her latest ex, Alex Rodriguez and Madonna played along.

She rolled her eyes but replied with:

“Didn’t you almost get arrested for bringing up A-Rod’s name?”

I love her sense of humor.

In case you don’t remember, Letterman joked that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter was pregnant with his baby.

He told Madonna that he didn’t get “arrested,” but almost got “fired.”

Madonna  did an interview where she talks about her gorgeous daughter, Lourdes.

On Lola’s cameo in the Celebration video:
She hangs out with the dancers a lot. She’s a dancer, herself. The video is about the celebration of music and dance. There’s an improvisational moment when we’re all in a circle and each dancer does their specialty or a special move that they do well. She wanted to do hers, so she did.

On following in her footsteps:
No. I don’t she wants to be a singer. I think she wants to be an actress.

On accepting Lola’s path:
I’m fine with it, as long as she finishes school, and takes it seriously. She also plays piano, and she’s really into clothes and fashion and style. She can go in any direction. She’s got a lot of diverse interests right now. We’ll see. I’m not pushing anything. We’ll see what she wants to do.

Lourdes has a very talented mom so I wouldn’t be surprised if she becomes equally talented.

Time will tell tho!

In Touch is reporting that after 25 years of being apart, Madonna and Sean Penn are thinking about getting back together.

A friend says Madonna, 51, and Sean, 49, have stayed in touch since having cocktails last November at New York’s Greenwich Hotel and have helped each other through their respective splits (she divorced Guy Ritchie in 2008). And though she is casually dating Jesus Luz, “Madonna still considers Sean her soulmate,” her friend reveals. “It’s highly possible that she and Sean will somehow get back together now that they’ll both be divorced.”

I really hope those rumors are true because they seemed to be really happy a very long time ago.

Madonna and her much younger beau, Jesus Luz, are celebrating her 51st birthday in Portofino, Italy.

Now why would a woman who is obsessed with working out wear that?

OK so I’m not going to comment on what she’s wearing, even though it’s awful, so instead, I’m going to mention how weird it is for her to have an official umbrella holder while in the water.

What a diva!!!!

Here is the ultimate material girl, Madonna, after she had dinner with her man or better yet, boy, in London yesterday.

Can I point out the obvious here?

What the hell is going on in her arms?

She’s working out waaaaaaaaaaay too damn much, that sh*t is disgusting!

Madonna hired a company called E S Group to build the stage in  Marseille. As I reported earlier, the stage collapsed which resulted in the death of 2 people and injured 6.

ES Group has released a regarding the accident.

Their rep said:

“We were incredibly saddened by the tragic accident during the construction of a stage at the Velodrome at Marseille. Our thoughts at this current time go out to the families and loved ones of the two men who died and to those who have been injured.

Two of our Directors have flown out to Marseille to visit the injured and to get a better understanding of what caused the accident. At present, it would not be appropriate to speculate on potential causes of the accident, but we are working closely with the French authorities to investigate what caused this incident. This is normal practice for such an incident and we will provide a further update as soon as it is possible.

There is absolutely no technical or other connection between the incident at the Dodgers Stadium in November 2008 and the tragic accident yesterday (July 16 2009) at the Velodrome in Marseille.”

I, for one, am very skepticle that there is “no technical or other connection” between the 2 collapsed stages.

Very touching and unfortunate.

My prayers go out for the two families who lost their loved ones.

I’m sad to report that a crew member for Madonna’s “Sticky and Sweet“  tour died today in France because a stage set collapsed today.

According to BBC News:

Technicians were setting up the stage at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille when the partially built roof fell in at around 1715 (1515 GMT).
The concert, planned for Sunday, 19 July, has now been cancelled, officials announced.
The cause of the accident was not clear.
The roof “started shaking and collapsing” gradually, said Marseille city councillor Maurice Di Nocera.
“Since it did not collapse right away, that allowed several people to get out, to avoid being hit,” he said.

Madonna released the following statement:

“I am devastated to have just received this tragic news. My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news.”

Madonna:

“I can’t stop crying over the sad news. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever! My heart goes out to his three children and other members of his family. God bless.”

Jesus Luz, aka Madonna’s boy toy, denied his romantic relationship on Brazilian TV program Fantastico.

“She is my friend, only my friend. Madonna is a person who I admire very much, a friend who has entered my life and [with whom] I keep in contact. I cannot say anything more than I don’t have plans of marrying her. I can’t say if she is the woman in my life,” said Luz who currently inhabits Madge’s Central Park West apartment.

He can’t say if she is the woman in his life??? That’s a bid bizarre, don’t you think?

When asked how he felt about the nickname the press has given him, his response was “Frankly, I never give importance to what others say about me. They can write that I’m a ‘toy boy’ or ‘boy toy.’ And I won’t care.”

That’s good to hear Jesus, because that’s exactly what you are!
