Is it the case of too much too soon?
The cast of Jersey Shore is in talks with MTV about Jersey Shore 2 and things seemed to go a lil sour when the issue of money came up.
MTV offered each Jersey Shore cast a $10,000 signing bonus and $5,000 per episode, with 12 episodes in total, but that apparently wasn’t high enough.
The Italian reality stars rejected the offere because they wanted more money.
Because the reality show is a ginormous hit, MTV offered them a second deal: $10,000 per episode and if the cast decides that they don’t like it, then they can walk.
MTV told the young stars that they are replaceable and, in fact, have chosen replacements for the people who decide to not sign on to Jersey Shore Season 2.
First of all, the offer that they have is beyond generous. Let’s do the simple math, 12 episodes and $10,000 per episode is $120K plus the $10K signing bonus. That’s $130K for doing absolutely nothing.
Imagine how many times they can GTL with that kind of money.
SIGN THE DEAL!
