Paulina Porizkova Fired From ANTM

I’m not entirely surprised by this, I always knew Tyra Banks was a control freak. Paulina Porizkova, who replaced Twiggy on America’s Next Top Model, has been fired from Tyra Banks’s reality competition series.

The former supermodel made an appearance on The Late Late Show Tuesday night, and told Craig Ferguson, “Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles … because I am looking for a job.”

She claims she received the bad news in a phone call on April 9, her 44th birthday.

As for why she lost her job after only one year she said, “The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America’s Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me.”

She elaborated, “So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego. Which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem.”
